Ocean City Police Participate in Cell Phone Crackdown

OCEAN CITY — Police here will be participating in the “Hang Up. Just Drive” enforcement program for cell phone use in motor vehicles.
This program is being funded by a State grant to help educate New Jersey Driver’s about the dangers of operating a motor vehicle while talking on a cell phone.
Extra Officers will be assigned to patrol with the main purpose of enforcing New Jersey’s Hands Free Cell phone law.
The crackdown will run from March 2 – 20.
