Ocean City Police Charge Two After Pellet Gun Complaint

OCEAN CITY — Two city residents were charged in connection with a Nov. 11 incident in the 700 block Moorlyn Terrace. The arrests took place after Ocean City police received a complaint of subjects shooting a pellet gun.
The victim reported that he was being shot at while installing Christmas decorations on his home. He was able to give the location of where the shots were initiating.
Officers were directed to an address in the 700 block of Moorlyn Terrace. At that location officers discovered the alleged weapon used in the assault. While conducting the investigation in the property, officers also discovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcoholic beverages.
Two subjects were arrested at the scene.
Jeffrey A. Burris, 19, of this city was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, simple assault, possession of alcohol underage, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
Lucia M. Trapani, 19, of this city, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of alcohol underage, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were charged on a criminal summons and released.
Sgt. Brian Hopely and Patrolman James Sampson investigated the incident.
