NORTHFIELD– Antonio Jiminez, 28, of Ocean City was charged with driving while intoxicated and other motor-vehicle violations, following a crash Sunday, the Atlantic City Press reports.
Police were called to an overturned vehicle on Route 9 near Athena’s Diner at 5:11 a.m. Sunday, but when they arrived, there was no one inside it. The investigators learned the vehicle was headed south on New Road when it hit a utility pole and overturned.
According to the report, officers found Jiminez, on West Mill Road, He was taken to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point and released on a summons.
