NORTH WILDWOOD — North Wildwood police arrested Guy C. Jones and Dominic T. Majors, both 20, who were wanted in connection to an arson that occurred at a Pennsylvania National Guard Armory in Chester County, Pa.
On April 15 at 11 p.m., police stopped a group coming off the 8th Avenue beach and identified Jones, who was among the group. Pennsylvania State Police received a delayed hit and notified North Wildwood police inquiring about Jones and Majors.
Police returned to the vicinity and a search of the area located Jones on a front porch of a residence in the 100 block of East 8th Ave. Police subsequently arrested Jones and Majors inside the residence. Both were charged as fugitives from justice and were being held county jail.
NJ.com is reporting that Jones and Mayors are Pennsylvania National Guardsmen. NJ.com also cites police as saying the men, both specialists who were deployed in Iraq last year, gained unauthorized access to the building and started a fire while inside.
