North Wildwood Police Arrest Fugitive from Florida

NORTH WILDWOOD — North Wildwood Police Officer Mark Santiago was on patrol when he came in contact with Laurie A. Black outside the Family Dollar Store at 2508 Delaware Ave. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 12:51 p.m. Santiago subsequently learned that Black was a wanted person out of the state of Florida. The outstanding warrant related to a probation violation with the original charge being the sale of stolen property.
Laurie A. Black, 49, residing in Wildwood, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Black was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center awaiting extradition to the Florida.
