PROSECUTOR PRESS RELEASE:
COURT HOUSE — County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announced the conclusion of a one-month undercover narcotics investigation involving the Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force, Wildwood Police Department and the North Wildwood Police Department.
According to a release, on Feb. 19, members of the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team; Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office; Wildwood Police Department and North Wildwood Police Department, executed court authorized search warrants at 231 E. Lincoln Avenue, Wildwood, 140 E. Learning Avenue, Apartment 5, Wildwood, and 107 West 24th Avenue, North Wildwood.
As a result of this investigation, the following subjects were arrested:
• Ronnie Gerald, 28, and Heather Ramsey, 31, residing in the 100 block of W. 24th Ave., North Wildwood, was charged with possession of under 1/2 ounce of cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession of COS within five hundred 500 feet of a public place, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and 2nd Degree Child Endangerment.
• Guy Bruce, 27, residing in the 200 block of E. Lincoln Ave., Wildwood, was charged with Possession of CDS, specifically crack-cocaine under 1/2 ounce and heroin, along with distribution of CDS.
• David Johnson, 29, and Heather Eagan, 20, residing in the 100 block of E. Learning Ave., Wildwood, was charged with possession of marijuana under fifty 50 grams, possession of hypodermic syringes and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the state Department of Corrections, Gerald, Bruce and Johnson are ex-convicts.
Gerald was previously incarcerated in state prison on multiple charges from Jan. 5, 2007 until Nov. 19, 2009 when he was paroled from Southern State Correctional Facility, Delmont.
Bruce was imprisoned for drug offenses from July 2006 to February 2007 and July 2007 to November 2008. He was release from Northern State Prison, Newark.
Johnson was incarcerated from October 2005 to May 2006 and October 2006 to October 2009 on drug charges. He was released from the Central Reception and Assignment Facility, Trenton.
