Nab One, Seek Two in Armed Robbery

WILDWOOD — City police arrested a local man and are seeking two others in connection with an Aug. 31 armed robbery that took place about midnight in the vicinity of Poplar and New Jersey avenues.
When police responded to a report of a disturbance, they found than an armed robbery had taken place. Involved were three males who had fled the scene.
The victim, Juan Garcia of North Cape May, had been struck in the head with a weapon and sustained head trauma. He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment.
When police investigated, they arrested Ronald J. Ristine, 32, an unemployed laborer, who resides at 126 E. Spencer Ave. Ristine was charged with first degree robbery and second degree conspiracy to commit robbery.
He was remanded to county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail set by Municipal Court Judge David DeWeese.
Warrants were issued for first degree robbery and second degree conspiracy to commit robbery for Ivan R. Concepcion, 26, of North Wildwood and Joseph P. Moncrief, 19, of Wildwood.
During the course of the investigation, a motor vehicle was recovered that had been reported stolen during the incident.
Members of Wildwood Police Department’s Uniform Patrol and Detective divisions investigated the case.
