WILDWOOD — Wildwood police arrested a 20-year-old city resident on a warrant, then found he was allegedly hiding 18 bags of heroin.
According to a release, on Wed., April 4, officers arrested Kelven Valentine-Espinosa, who was unemployed on an outstanding Cape May County Superior Court Warrant for failure to appear on a possession of CDS (Cocaine) charges.
After being processed, Valentine-Espinosa was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center. There, Valentine-Espinosa was found to be concealing 18 baggies of suspected CDS (heroin).
As a result, he was charged with Possession of CDS (heroin), Posses-sion of CDS (heroin) with intent to distribute, Possession of CDS (heroin) with intent to dis-tribute within 500 feet of Certain Public Property, Possession of CDS (heroin) with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of Wildwood High School.
Bail was set on the additional charges at $75,000 full cash, no 10 percent, by Municipal Court Judge Christopher D. Robertson.
