On Feb. 1 at approximately 2 a.m., Lower Township Police Cpl. Ernest Macomber was running stationary radar on Route 9 in the area of Historic Cold Spring Village.
Macomber then had a white Ford sedan proceed past his location heading north on Route 9 at a high rate of speed, 90 mph, according to police.
Macomber then closed the distance on the vehicle while activating his overhead lights and siren, but the driver refused to stop.

The suspect vehicle then turned down several side streets before pulling into a driveway in the 200 Block of Sumner Road.
Three occupants of the motor vehicle were then ordered out of the car at gunpoint by Macomber and the Middle Township officers.
