N. Wildwood Police Apprehend Pa. Fugitive

NORTH WILDWOOD — On Tue., Aug. 31, North Wildwood police arrested Paul Thomas Murray, 35, of Philadelphia.
Murray was wanted in connection to a parole violation relating to an attempted murder charge.
The Pennsylvania Board of Parole and Probation had notified local authorities and distributed a wanted-person message and photograph to local police departments.
On Aug. 29 at about 2 a.m. an officer on foot patrol in the 100 block of Olde New Jersey Avenue saw Murray standing outside one of the bars and recognized him from the photograph.
During the arrest Murray was found to be in possession of metal knuckles. He was charged with a weapons offense and being a fugitive from justice.
Murray was lodged in county jail awaiting extradition.
