N. Carolina Man Charged in Rio Robbery

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person(s) named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
RIO GRANDE — The Middle Township Police Department has identified and charged the subject responsible for the Aug. 25 robbery of a department store, in Rio Grande.
The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m.
On Sept. 4, 2018, Dustin A. Washington, 32, of Charlotte, N.C., was positively identified as the subject responsible for the robbery of the store.
Municipal Court Judge Marian Ragusa issued a warrant charging Washington with robbery, a crime of the first degree.
Washington had been lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center on criminal charges stemming from a robbery incident at a pharmacy in Villas.
The Middle Township Police Department extended its thanks the public for its assistance with the investigation.
