WILDWOOD – Members of the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division concluded a one week investigation concerning the street level sales of narcotics located in the City of Wildwood Aug. 27.
At approximately 10 p.m. Aug. 27, members of the Wildwood Police Department Detective and Uniform Patrol Divisions conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 100 West block of Davis Ave. located in Wildwood.
During the developing investigation, distribution quantities of narcotics, specifically heroin, cocaine, and marijuana were recovered, resulting in the arrest of the occupants of the vehicle identified as Louis Morales-Correa, and Jesus Rosa-Leon. The narcotics seized in connection to the investigation were prepackaged for street level sales and had an estimated street value of $2,000. Additionally seized in connection to the investigation was $1,300, which was identified as proceeds of street level narcotics sales. As a result of the investigation, the following criminal charges were filed against the defendants:
Rosa-Leon, 29, currently residing in Wildwood was charged with possession of heroin, (a crime of the third degree), possession of heroin with intent to distribute, (a crime of the third degree), possession of heroin with intent to distribute within 1000′ of school property, (a crime of the third degree), possession of heroin with intent to distribute within 500 of public property, (a crime of the second degree), possession of cocaine, (a crime of the third degree), possession of marijuana, (a disorderly persons offense), possession of narcotics paraphernalia, (a disorderly persons offense), financial facilitation, (a crime of the third degree), possession of a prohibited weapon, (a crime of the fourth degree), possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, (a crime of the third degree), possession of a weapon during a narcotics crime, ( a crime of the second degree), and loitering to obtain/sell narcotics, ( a disorderly persons offense). Judge Dorothy Garrabrant of the Wildwood Municipal Court set bail at $200,000, cash/bond, no ten percent all charges. Rosa-Leon was unable to post bail and was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Center.

Judge Garrabrant set bail @ $100,000, cash/bond, no ten percent all charges. Morales-Correa was unable to post bail and was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
