Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to the Arrest of 5 Individuals

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person(s) named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
VILLAS – Detectives from the Lower Township Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on a silver Ford Escape in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road, Villas April 3, at about 7:07 p.m.
According to a release, five male subjects occupied the vehicle.
The driver, Osmond R. Garrison, 31, from Villas, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia including a hypodermic needle.
Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of all vehicle occupants for narcotics-related offenses.    
Garrison was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle.
Bryan Leonard, 39,of North Cape May was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance – Schedule III,  and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gregory Calfina, 38,  of Villas was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance – Schedule III, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
William H. Lowe, 34, of Erma was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance – Schedule III,  and possession of drug paraphernalia.
David Lambert, 39, of North Cape May was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance – Schedule III, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle.
All five subjects were transported to Lower Township Police Headquarters for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Osmond R. Garrison, Bryan Leonard, Gregory Calfina and William H. Lowe were released on summonses pending further adjudication in court.
David Lambert was transported to and lodged in, the Cape May County Correctional Facility, awaiting a detention hearing.
The Lower Township Police Department’s Detective Division conducted this investigation with the assistance of the Patrol Division. Residents are reminded to report suspicious activity to the Lower Township Police Department at 609-886-2711.
