Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Heroin Arrest

VILLAS – Lower Township police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Bayshore Road and East Pacific Avenue in the Villas section of the township April 20 at approximately 2:28 p.m.  
During the investigation into the motor vehicle infraction, the driver of the vehicle, George Small-Rambo, 30, of Villas, was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), specifically heroin. 
Small-Rambo was arrested on scene and transported to Lower Township Police Department. There he was processed and released on a criminal summons complaint charging him with possession of CDS, heroin, a third degree crime. 
This investigation was conducted by Lower Township Detective and Patrol Divisions.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
