Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Fugitive Arrest

WILDWOOD CREST – Special Officer Austin Hanson made a motor vehicle stop in the 500 block of East Palm Rd. Sept. 13 at 9:22 p.m.
During the stop it was confirmed that the driver, Edward Hatch of Philadelphia, Pa., was a fugitive of justice from Pa. He was wanted on assault charges.
Hatch was arrested without incident and charged with being a fugitive of justice. He was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center awaiting extradition.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
