Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS Arrest

WEST WILDWOOD – Officers from the West Wildwood Police Department conducted a suspicious vehicle stop in the area of Glenwood Ave. and A Ave. by observing two male subjects sitting in the rear of a vehicle with the interior light off Aug. 27 at 5:15 a.m.
Upon approaching the vehicle, officers spoke with the subjects, identified as Joseph Donahue along with another male subject, and was also approached by the driver of the vehicle, identified as Nicole Narciso. While information was being gathered at the scene, several open containers of alcohol were discovered within the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that Donahue possessed a marijuana grinder which contained suspected marijuana. A glass pipe used for smoking suspected marijuana was also located in Donahue’s back pack. Donahue was subsequently arrested for the paraphernalia.
Furthermore, officers discovered a glass pipe, which had been used to smoke suspected marijuana, from the rear pocket of the front passenger seat of Narciso’s vehicle. A bag of suspected marijuana was also found within the vehicle’s door frame. Narciso was placed under arrest and both subjects were transported to the West Wildwood Police Department.
Donahue was charged with the following: possession of marijuana under 50 grams, a disorderly person’s offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia, also a disorderly person’s offense. Donahue was released after receiving his summonses.
Narciso was issued the following: two motor vehicle summonses for open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and also for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. She was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, a disorderly person’s offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia, also a disorderly person’s offense. Narciso was also released after she received her summonses.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
