Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

NORTH CAPE MAY – Patrolman Shawn Lafferty conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2003 silver Pontiac on Sandman Boulevard near Sheriff Taylor Boulevard in the North Cape May section of Lower Township for a traffic violation Saturday March 21 at approximately 12:14 a.m.
The vehicle was being driven by Samuel J. Sinex, 18, of North Cape May.
During the course of the investigation, Sinex was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested on scene and transported to the Lower Township Police Department where he was charged on a criminal complaint summons with possession of drug paraphernalia. Sinex was additionally issued a motor vehicle summons for speeding.
He was released on his own recognizance pending court.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
