VILLAS – Patrolman Robert Fessler and Special Officer Michael Harkin, with the Lower Township Police Department, conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bayshore Road and Ridgewood Avenue in Villas Saturday, May 2 at approximately 1:30 a.m.
During the investigation of the driving infraction that led to the stop, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, Paul E. Henon, 18, who resides in the 3100 block of Route 9 in Rio Grande, was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), namely marijuana.
Henon was arrested on scene and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and other summonses related to the driving infraction.
After processing, Henon was released on his own recognizance.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
