WILDWOOD – Wildwood Police Department concluded a month long investigation June 19 into a burglary which occurred May 13 at a store located in the 100 Block of East Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood. During the course of this burglary, a subject unlawfully entered the business during the overnight hours and removed over $700 worth of merchandise from within.
As a result of the developing investigation conducted by the Wildwood Police Department Patrol and Detective Divisions, Justin Daily, 19, currently residing in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, was arrested and charged in connection to the burglary.
Daily was subsequently charged with burglary, a crime of the third degree, and theft, a crime of the third degree.
Wildwood Municipal Court Judge Dorothy Garrabrant authorized a warrant for these charges and set bail at $35,000, full cash, no ten percent. Daily was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
