Mobile Command Post Remains at Park Through June 12

By Al Campbell

DEL HAVEN — The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office mobile command van will remain at Cape May County Park South on Bayshore Road through June 12. It is staffed by members of the Prosecutor’s Office. Individuals with any information about the November 1991 disappearance of Mark Himebaugh can stop to discuss the matter with them.
Detectives will take the person’s name and other information, and relay the information to Middle Township Police Department. For the past week, that agency has redoubled efforts to seek new clues to the disappearance, one of the county’s strangest and longest unsolved mysteries.
Middle Township police are working in conjunction with The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in a renewed effort to unearth clues that will give the case closure.
Persons with information are asked to contact Middle Township Police Major Crimes Unit at 609 465-8700, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST), or their local FBI office.
