Missing Children Found Safe, Grandmother Arrested

COURT HOUSE – Two children have been found safe and their grandmother arrested following reports from Middle Township Police Department asking for public assistance in locating the children.
A two-year-old and one-year-old were reported missing Jan. 5 after being seen leaving Superior Court in Court House with their grandmother, Cinnamon Kelly, 42, of Villas, around 3:30 p.m. According to a release, Cinnamon Kelly was denied custody of the two children.
Cinnamon Kelly was believed to be traveling in a 2006 Buick Lucerne with Brian Thomas, 32, also of Villas.
An arrest warrant was issued for Cinnamon Kelly, charging her with kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a child.
She was arrested in Prospect Park, Pa. by the Prospect Park Police Department and the children were located and are safe.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
