WILDWOOD — On June 27 at about 4:10 p.m., Wildwood police responded to the 200 block of East Burk Avenue to investigate a report of criminal mischief.
As a result of this investigation a description of the perpetrator was obtained and broadcast to Wildwood police.
Moments later an individual matching the description of the subject from the criminal mischief incident was stopped at Youngs and Pacific avenues. This person was identified as Jorge Aviles-Morales, 21, of Wildwood.
During the investigation Aviles-Morales was found to be in possession of 58 prepackaged baggies of crack cocaine. He was charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute, and possession within 1000 feet of school property.
Aviles- Morales was lodged in county jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
