Middle Police Seek Pair of Armed Robbers

BURLEIGH — An armed robbery was reported to Middle Township police Nov. 2 about 11:06 p.m. in the vicinity of Indian Trail Road and the railroad tracks.
According to police, the victim, a 20-year-old male, was walking home along Indian Trail Road when he was reportedly approached by two black males dressed in dark, hooded sweatshirts with faces covered.
One subject pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim reportedly tried to flee, but fell and was then struck on the head by one of the attackers.
The subjects then stole money, an iPod and a cellular telephone from the victim.
They fled on foot south along the railroad tracks towards Whitesboro.
The victim sustained minor injuries in the attack.
