Middle Police: Lock Doors to Battle Burglars

COURT HOUSE — Middle Township police are asking residents to be vigilant about locking their vehicles and homes.
According to a release, police have been handling more than the normal influx of car and home burglaries over the course of the past few months.
The majority of vehicles have been left unlocked leaving such items as GPS devices, satellite radios and cash visible to the criminals, police said.
Calls were handled in the following areas: Court House, 10 calls; Burleigh, 8; Del Haven, 7; Rio Grande, 2; Goshen, 2; Green Creek, 1; and Swainton, 1. Police ask anyone witnessing suspicious behavior in their neighborhood to call (609) 465-8700.
