Man Gets 24 Years In Prison for Making, Distributing Drugs

COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announces the sentencing of Angelo Cuculino, 50, of Upper Township, for three counts of manufacture and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), one count of possession of a firearm during a CDS offense and one count of being a certain person not to possess a weapon.

In May of 2016, Cuculino pled guilty in Cape May County Superior Court to three counts of manufacture and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, which are crimes of the third degree; one count of possession of a firearm during a CDS offense, a crime the second degree; and one count of being a certain person not to possess a weapon, a crime of the second degree.

On Aug. 19, 2016, Cuculino was sentenced by Judge John Porto, JSC to a term of imprisonment of 24 years in New Jersey State Prison with a five-year period of parole ineligibility.

Prosecutor Taylor recognizes the efforts of the detectives involved in this case from the Prosecutor’s Office, Ocean City Police Department and the New Jersey State Police which resulted in the successful conclusion of this investigation.
