STONE HARBOR – Stone Harbor Police responded to a welfare check of an individual sleeping on a bench in the 300 Block of 96th Street at 6:30 a.m. Friday, July 3.
Officer Joseph Bartolone responded and a name check of Jonathan Rodriquez, 23, of Court House, revealed a warrant out of Middle Township Municipal Court for a traffic violation with bail set at $500. Subsequent to being placed under arrest on the warrant, a hypodermic needle was found in his pants.
Rodriquez was transported to the station, charged with possession of the hypodermic needle, and transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center on the outstanding warrant.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
