WILDWOOD CREST — An employee of a Wildwood Crest motel was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon following an Oct. 13 incident reported at 10:17 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue.
According to a Wildwood Crest Police Department release,
Patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a motel in Wildwood Crest, Oct. 13.
When they arrived, officers learned that two employees were involved in an altercation. During the incident, one of the employees allegedly attempted to stab the other with a screwdriver multiple times.
Humberto Rivera, 54, of Del Haven was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was released after processing.
Officers involved in the matter were Sgt. Ronald Becker, Detective Sgt. Jon Weigand, S/O Augustin Pastor, S/O Kyle Klemas.
