WILDWOOD – On May 28 at approximately 7:30 a.m., members of the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed Patrol Division
and Wiidwood Police Department Detective Division set up surveillance in the area of Garfield and Pacific Avenues as part of an ongoing investigation into the report of a male subject exposing his genitals and masturbating in as children were passing by on their way to school, members of the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed.
As a result of this surveillance a male was observed masturbating as children walked by the area.
The subject was placed under arrest and was identified as Javier Feliciano-Perez, a forty-one year old unemployed maintenance worker who resides in the City of Wildwood.
Mr. Feliciano-Perez was issued criminal complaints for lewdness and endangering the welfare of children.
The Honorable Judge David M. DeWeese set bail for Mr. Feliciano-Perez at $10,000.00 cash or bond no ten percent, with a condition of release being no contact with any of the victims.
Mr. Feliciano-Perez could not post the required bail, and was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
Further investigation into this matter has resulted in Mr. Feliciano-Perez being issued three criminal complaints for endangering the welfare of children, and five complaints issued to him for acts of lewdness.
All these incidents occurred in the City of Wildwood between May 26 and May 28.
The Honorable Judge David M. DeWeese JMC set bail for Mr. Feliciano-Perez on all the charges at a blanket bail of $25,000.00 cash or bond no ten percent, with a condition of release being no contact with any of the victims.
