WILDWOOD CREST – Detective Mark Tomlin investigated a burglary at an address on Hollywood Ave. Oct. 9.
The homeowner discovered that the residence was burglarized and found extensive damage once inside. While conducting the investigation, evidence found at the scene led Detective Tomlin to arrest and charge Anthony Valenti, 45, of Moorestown, N.J. with the crime.
Valenti turned himself in to the Wildwood Crest Police Oct. 21. He was charged with burglary and criminal mischief. He was released after posting 10 percent of a $15,000 bail. Damage inside the residence is estimated to be in excess of $5,000.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
