Man Charged in Wildwood Burglaries

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person(s) named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
WILDWOOD – On Dec. 1, 2018 at about 7 a.m., officers from the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed Patrol Division, responded to the 200 block of East Poplar Avenue, for the report of an unwanted guest.
It was discovered that the property had been burglarized.
On Dec. 2, at about 3:33 p.m., officers from the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed Patrol Division, investigated the report of a burglary in the 400 block East Magnolia Avenue.
In that incident, the perpetrator was observed by a witness, climbing out of a window. Subsequently, the property was found to have been burglarized.
During the investigation, the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division conducted a follow-up investigation and identified the alleged perpetrator as Raymond Griner, 31.
Griner was found at his residence and placed under arrest. Griner was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft.
Griner was issued criminal charges and released on a summons complaint, in accordance with the Attorney General Guidelines promulgated in connection with Criminal Justice Reform Policies and Directives.
