Man Charged in Swainton Burglary

SWAINTON – Middle Township Police Department Major Crimes Unit received an anonymous tip Jan. 23 in reference to the burglary that occurred Jan. 21 on Bay Acres Drive in Swainton.  
According to a release, further investigation revealed Evan Bossuyt, 22, of Woodbine, was found to be highly intoxicated at the time he went into the residence that he believed to be a family member’s home. At this point in the investigation, Middle Township police believe that this is an isolated incident and that Bossuyt acted alone.
Based on information and physical evidence collected from the scene, Bossuyt was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. Bossuyt was processed and released on a summons complaint. 
The individual(s) listed is/are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
