Man Arrested for Using Cocaine in Car, Drugs Seized

Lower Township Police announced the arrest of a local resident, Theodore “Teddy” Marchina of Lower Township.
At midnight on Aug. 18, officers of the Lower Township Police Department arrested a subject for cocaine possession at the Bayshore Inn Bar Parking Lot. Officers observed Marchina using the drugs while sitting in his vehicle. As a result of the on scene investigation, four bags of cocaine were seized, along with other prescription drugs.
Marchina, 36, is a resident of Townbank Road in Lower Township. Marchina was charged with the drugs and bail was set by Judge Thomas Hillegass. Marchina was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 full cash bail.
Possession of cocaine is a third degree crime in New Jersey.
