DIAMOND BEACH – Lower Township Police responded to a residential burglar alarm on North Station Avenue in Diamond Beach Feb. 1.
Upon arrival it was discovered that forced entry was made to the residence. While on scene, Sergeant Vanaman, Corporal Fisher, Patrolmen Coombs and Special Officer Martinelli searched and checked additional properties in the area, and ten additional burglaries were discovered. Once inside, the suspect is primarily targeting flat screen televisions.
Detective Boyle and Detective Perry responded and processed the scene, during which time they conducted several interviews which led to a suspect for at least one of these burglaries.
