VILLAS – The Lower Township Police Department responded to a total of 765 calls for service during the week of Aug. 4 through Aug. 10, averaging a total of 110 calls per day. Police also made a total number of 12 arrests during this period. The following incidents were also investigated.

Conducted 11 motor vehicle stops

Local Ordinance 230-11 – Unobstructed View at Corners
We are receiving an increasing amount of complaints regarding obstructed corners. If you own a corner property, please ensure that nothing (trees, shrubs, signs, fences, etc.) obstructs a driver’s view at the corner and that you are in compliance with the ordinance. If you need additional information regarding the ordinance, please visit Lower Township’s website and view the Township Code Book on the Links page and search Ordinance #230-11. (http://ecode360.com/LO2036).
In addition, if you notice obstructed street/traffic signs in Lower Township, please report them to Lower Township Public Works at 609-884-0898, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
