Lower Township Police Handled 765 calls June 8-14

ERMA — During the week of June 8-14, 2008, Lower Township Police responded to and/or initiated 765 calls for service averaging over 109 calls per day.
JUNE 08, 2008:
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 12:08 a.m. in the 200 block of Roseann Avenue in North Cape May; reporting party states the neighbor is having a large party that is very loud, responding officer spoke to the actor and they will keep it down for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of a theft received at 11:19 a.m. in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard in North Cape May; reporting party states someone stole a statue of a deer from their yard, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 1:10 p.m. in the 200 block of Lennox Avenue in Fishing Creek; reporting party states that his ex-girlfriend is harassing him, the police spoke with both the parties involved, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of harassment received at 1:30 p.m. in the first block of West Drumbed Road, Villas; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by her neighbor, the officer spoke with both parties, both subjects signed complaints on each other for harassment, both subjects were served with the complaint and given a court date.
Report of harassment received at 2:02 p.m. in the first block of Holly Drive in Fishing Creek; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party’s son is being harassed, the officer spoke with the victim and the complainant signed a harassment complaint.
Report of a suicide received at 2:38 p.m. in the 300 block of Broadway Avenue Villas; police officers were advised that a subject had just shot himself, upon police arrival a subject was found deceased from a self inflicted gun shot wound.
Report of a burglary received at 4 p.m. in the 100 block of West Delaware Parkway Villas; reporting party states someone went through their house while at work, upon police arrival they were advised that money was missing, investigation continues.
Report of a robbery received at 5:34 p.m. in the 600 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May; upon police arrival the reporting party states that on Friday night he got beat up and he has a few broken bones in his face along with other injuries, Investigation continues.
Report of an assault received at 5:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Crawford Road in North Cape May; the reporting party told the police that he was assaulted by his neighbor, the victim signed complaints for assault, this incident is pending court.
Domestic violence complaint received at 8:13 p.m. in the first block of Mimosa Drive in North Cape May; reporting party states that the actor has become physical with them, upon police arrival the actor left the residence, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of a narcotics arrest at 11:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road Villas; during a suspicious person investigation the subject was found to be in possession of CDS, and CDS paraphernalia, the subject was arrested and charged on a warrant with Judge DeWeese setting bail at $25,000.00. The actor was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
June 09, 2008:
Report of an assault received at 12:42 a.m. in the 600 block of Crawford Road in North Cape May; upon police arrival the actor left the scene, the victim stated he got into a fight with his brother-in-law, the victim was given his options, no complaints were signed at this time.
Report of criminal mischief received at 7:32 a.m. in the area of Pacific Avenue and East Memphis Avenue in Diamond Beach; the victim reports damage done to a UPS drop off box, investigation continues.
Report of narcotics found at 8:42 a.m. in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road Villas; upon police arrival the reporting party turned over several Baggies of white powder that was found on the ground, the item was turned in for destruction. Investigation continues.
Report of a bad check received at 12:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road Villas; upon officer’s arrival a local business states that they received a bad check, the officer will make contact with the subject who issued the check to see if they will take care of it, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:20 p.m. in the 800 block of Seashore Road in Erma; police were advised that a disorderly subject was on the property, upon police arrival the subject was outside and the problem was over a misunderstanding, the police spoke to both parties and they worked everything out, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 2:08 p.m. in the area of Route 47 and the George Redding Bridge in Shawcrest; reporting party states that two subjects are arguing on the bridge, upon police arrival both subjects were spoken to, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 7:46 p.m. in the 200 block of East Weber Avenue Villas; reporting party states that she is being harassed by her husband, the police spoke with the complainant and advised her of her options, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 7:47 p.m. in the 2700 block of Bayshore Road Villas; police were advised of a problem between family members, upon police arrival the problem was resolved for now and they will work out the problem between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 8:14 p.m. in the 400 block of Mistletoe Road in Cape May Beach; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by a subject as he is taking photos of the complainant, the officer spoke with the victim and advised him of his options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a theft received at 9:28 p.m. in the first block of East Tampa Avenue Villas; reporting party states someone stole a yellow strobe light from their vehicle sometime last night, investigation continues.
Report of a drunk driver received at 9:38 p.m. in the area of Route 109 and the Garden State Parkway; during a motor vehicle stop the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the driver was processed and released to a family member with a court date.
June 10, 2008:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 8:59 a.m. in the 200 block of East Atlantic Avenue Villas; police were advised of a problem between two subjects in the street, upon police arrival the problem was resolved for now and they will work out the problem between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 10:26 a.m. in the 200 block of Evergreen Avenue Villas; reporting party states that she is reporting a domestic with her husband, the police spoke with the complainant and advised her of her options, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of a narcotics paraphernalia arrest at 12:28 p.m. in the 300 block of Broadway Avenue Villas; during a suspicious motor vehicle investigation the subject was found to be in possession CDS paraphernalia, the subject was arrested and charged. The actor also had a warrant out for his arrest out of Lower Township. The actor was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 7:20 p.m. in the area of Bybrook Drive and Winward Road; reporting party states fireworks being shot off in the area, upon police arrival they were unable to locate any subjects setting off fireworks, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 8:59 p.m. in the 300 block of Route 9 in Erma; police were advised of a female outside yelling and screaming, upon police arrival the subject was gone, no complaints at this time.
June 11, 2008:
Domestic violence complaint received at 12:45 a.m. in the 500 block of Springtime Road in Cape May Beach; reporting party states that she was struck in the face by her husband, assault charges were filed and the subject was placed under arrest, he was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given and a TRO was not requested.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 11:59 a.m. in the 100 block of West Miami Avenue Villas; police were advised of a problem between two family members, upon police arrival the problem was resolved for now and they will work out the problem between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Report of a theft received at 12:27 p.m. in the 600 block of Route 9 in Erma; police was advised by the complainant that a car stereo was stolen from her motor vehicle, investigation continues.
Report of criminal mischief received at 2:28 p.m. in the first of Holiday Road Villas; the victim reports damage done to her motor vehicle, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 3:05 p.m. in the area of Route 109 and Ocean Drive in Cold Spring; police were advised of a male subject running down the middle of the street yelling, upon police arrival they spoke with the subject in question and provided assistance to the subject as needed, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 6:31 p.m. in the 1000 block of Seashore Road in Cold Spring; police were advised of a intoxicated male subject on a bike, upon police arrival the officer took the subject home to a family member, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 7:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Oakdale Avenue Villas; police were advised of a verbal argument between two subjects, upon police arrival the problem was resolved for now and one of the subjects will being leaving for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 8:05 p.m. in the 1300 block of Langley Road in Erma; police was advised that the victim was being harassed by cell phone and by text messages, the officer explained the victim of her options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a burglary received at 11:24 p.m. in the 200 block of Millman Lane Villas; reporting party states someone entered their house while they were out, upon police arrival they were advised that several items were missing, investigation continues.
June 12, 2008:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:58 a.m. in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road Villas; police were advised of a disorderly customer in the store, upon police arrival they spoke with both parties and the actor was given a ride home, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 10:23 a.m. in the 1800 block of Bayshore Road Villas; police was advised that the victim was being harassed by her landlord, the officer explained the victim of her options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a bad check received at 1:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Fulling Mill Road Villas; upon officer’s arrival the victim states that they received a bad check, complaint was signed for a bad check, complaint is pending service to the actor.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 2:59 p.m. in the 9600 block of Pacific Avenue in Diamond Beach; police were advised of a disorderly employee, upon police arrival they spoke with the victim who states a ex-employee shoved him around the office, the victim signed complaints against the actor for harassment, complaint is pending service.
Report of harassment received at 3:27 p.m. in the 500 block of New England Road in Cold Spring; police was advised that the victim was being harassed by her neighbor, the officer explained the victim of her options and complaints were signed by the victim on the actor for harassment and defiant trespass, complaints pending service.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 4:19 p.m. in the 1900 block of Bayshore Road Villas; police were advised of disorderly juveniles using foul language and refusing to leave the property, upon police arrival they spoke with all subjects involved, subjects were advised to leave the property and they were not welcomed back or complaints will be signed, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 5:24 p.m. in the 100 block of East Florida Avenue Villas; reporting party states that her husband keeps calling her in violation of a Final Restraining Order, complaints were signed for contempt of court order, warrant was faxed to the local police department of the actor for service.
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 11:03 p.m. in the 200 block of Tabernacle Road in Erma; reporting party states the neighbor is playing loud music, upon police arrival the officer did not hear any music, no complaints at this time.
June 13, 2008:
Report of harassment received at 12:22 a.m. in the 100 block of Beachhurst Drive in North Cape May; police was advised that the victim was being harassed by phone, mail, and internet, the officer explained the victim of his options, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 2:55 a.m. in the 200 block of Evergreen Avenue Villas; reporting party states that she is reporting a domestic with her husband, the police spoke with the complainant and advised her of her options, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of trespassing received at 8:34 a.m. in the 500 block of New England Road in Cold Spring; report of a neighbor trespassing on the reporting parties property, upon police arrival the victim signed a complaint against the actor, complaint pending service.
Report of harassment received at 9:27 a.m. in the 700 block of Jonathan Hoffman Road in Cold Spring; police was advised that the victim was being harassed, the officer explained the victim of his options, the victim signed complaint on the actor for harassment, complaint pending service.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 10:23 a.m. in the 700 block of Route 9 in Erma; police were advised of a unruly subject refusing to leave the property, upon police arrival they spoke with the subject involved, subject was advised to leave the property and he was not welcomed back or complaints will be signed, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 10:25 a.m. in the 700 block of Seashore Road in Erma; police was advised that the victim was being harassed by phone, the officer explained the victim of her options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a theft received at 11:59 am in the 400 block of Mulberry Road in Cape May Beach; the complainant advised police that a kayak and oars was stolen from her property, investigation continues.
Report of a theft received at 12:27 p.m. in the 200 block of Ohio Avenue Villas; the complainant advised police that her bike was stolen, investigation continues.
Report of harassment received at 1:13 p.m. in the 1700 block of Star Avenue Villas; police was advised that the victim’s daughter was being harassed over the internet on my space, police spoke with the actor’s father who will take care of the problem, the officer explained the victim of her options, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 1:27 p.m. in the 200 block of East Florida Avenue Villas; police received a 911 call from a subject screaming and yelling, upon police arrival it was found out to be a verbal dispute over property and everything has calmed down at this time, the actor has left the residence, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 11:35 p.m. in the first block of Freedom Drive in Erma; police were advised of an unruly party in the area, police spoke to the actors and they will be quiet for the night, no complaints at this time.
June 14, 2008:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:02 a.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; police were advised of a fight in the parking lot, upon police arrival the two subjects involved had left the area, during this investigation a subject present was arrested for a warrant out of Wildwood City, subject was processed and released on bail with a court date, no other complaints signed at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:56 a.m. in the 200 block of Amhurst Drive in North Cape May; police were advised of a verbal argument between two family members, upon police arrival the problem was resolved for now and one of the subjects will be staying at a friends residence for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of a drunk driver received at 4:41 a.m. in the area of Seashore Road and Academy Road in Erma; during a motor vehicle stop the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the driver was processed and released to a family member with a summons with a court date.
Report of criminal mischief received at 8:02 a.m. in the area of Mulligan Field Villas; the Township reports damage and graffiti was done in the area, investigation continues.
Report of a theft received at 8:40 am in the 700 block of West Rio Grande Avenue in Shawcrest; the complainant advised police that his bike was stolen sometime last night, investigation continues.
Report of a warrant arrest at 2:27 p.m. in the 400 block of Breakwater Road in Erma; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant, out of Middle Township, subject was processed and released on bail with a court date.
Report of a theft received at 2:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road Villas; the complainant advised police that they have a shoplifter, upon police arrival they took one subject into custody for shoplifting, the subject was processed and released on a summons with a court date.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 5:47 p.m. in the first block of Maple Road Villas; police were advised of a verbal argument between two family members, upon police arrival the officer spoke with both parties and the problem was resolved for now, no complaints at this time.
