TOWN BANK- On Sunday August 18, Lower Township Police department arrested Michael Loper, 27, of the Town Bank section of Lower Township for burglary.
The victim of the burglary reported to police that his residence was broken into during the evening of August 17th, stolen from the residence was four shotguns including ammo, lap top computer and other items.
Patrolmen James McNulty along with Detective First Class Marlin Hedum and Detective Michael Perry investigated the burglary, which led to the arrest of Michael Loper, and the recovery of the stolen weapons and other items.
Michael Loper was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief and additional charges are pending. He was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $35,000.00 bail.
