By Herald Staff

VILLAS — A 20-year-old resident of the 200 block East Delaware Parkway was arrested by Lower Township police July 3 and charged with drug-related complaints after officers responded to a domestic complaint at about 4 p.m.
According to a release, Brandon R. Ivins of the 200 block East Delaware Parkway, was charged with various drug distribution and possession counts after police found 1.5 pounds of high-grade marijuana and 100 prescription narcotic pills at the residence. Those drugs had an estimated street value of $10,000, police stated.
Police went to the address to serve a restraining order, and while in the residence, saw drug paraphernalia and bags of marijuana in plain view.
After gaining the owner’s consent to search, they found the illicit drugs. Detectives had had the address under surveillance over the past two months, and had received intelligence regarding the distribution of drugs from that location.
Ivins was processed at police headquarters, and charged on a warrant issued by Municipal Court Judge David DeWeese. He was released on his own recognizance pending court.
Detective Chris Lambert and Patrolman Doug Whitten and Patrolman Chad Fitzmaurice investigated the case.
