Lower Police Looking For Vehicle In Ride-By Smoke Bombing of Sightseeing Vessel

SCHELLENGER’S LANDING – On Saturday, July 10, at approximately 11 p.m,, the Lower Township Police Communication’s Center received a 9-1-1 call from the Sightseeing Vessel “Spirit of Cape May,” which docks on Wilson Avenue here.
Persons on board the vessel reported that a red Jeep, drove up to the bulkhead where the “Spirit of Cape May” was docked and a subject in the Jeep, then threw approximately five 5 small “stink bombs” onto the deck of the boat before fleeing the area.
No damage or injuries were reported in the incident.
