Lower Police Investigate Burglaries, Thefts

LOWER TOWNSHIP POLICE RELEASE:
ERMA — The Lower Township Police Department is investigating the following burglaries and thefts that occurred in the last several days throughout the township.
Wednesday, March 3rd, reported burglary and theft occurred at the T & J Plumbing and Supply Shop in the 1600 block of Garfield Avenue, Villas.
Unknown person(s) entered the shop and removed three (3) buckets full of scrap copper/pipe fittings and a spool of insulated copper wire with an estimated value of $600.
Wednesday, March 3rd, reported burglary and theft occurred at a residence in the 600 block of Hughes Avenue in North Cape May.
Unknown person(s) entered the residence and removed several pieces of jewelry.
Wednesday, March 3rd, reported theft of two (2) Surf Boards and two (2) Bicycles from a yard in the 600 block of Seashore Road in the Erma Section of the township.
Thursday, March 4th, reported theft from the Harbor View Marina on Ocean Drive.
Unknown person(s) entered the marina grounds and removed a large refrigerator and a large fuel pump.
The refrigerator is a front opening, stainless steel, relatively new model. Fuel pump was described as being approximately four (4) feet tall. The total value of stolen property was listed at $5,500.

The incidents are under investigation by the Lower Township Police Department’s Patrol Division and Detective Division.
