Lower Police Arrest Man, Two Ounces of Marijuana Seized

ERMA – The Lower Township Police Department Detective Division concluded a three week investigation concerning the sales of narcotics from the 900 block of Myrtle Ave, located in the Erma section of Lower Township on Aug. 23.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 23, the Lower Township Police Department Detective Division, and the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department executed a court authorized search warrant in the 900 block of Myrtle Ave, Erma, NJ in connection to a covert narcotics investigation.
As a result of the search warrant, over two ounces of marijuana was seized, along with drug paraphernalia and items used to distribute C.D.S. Some of the marijuana was packaged for street level sales. Additionally, seized in connection to the investigation was over $1,000, identified as proceeds of street level narcotics distribution.
As a result of the investigation, Brandon Small, 18-year-old male who resides in the 900 block of Myrtle Ave, Erma, NJ, was arrested on scene. Brandon Small was charged with distribution of C.D.S,crime of the third degree, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly persons offense.
The honorable Judge Hillegass, judge of the Lower Township Municipal Court set bail in the amount of $20,000 cash or bond ten percent for Brandon Small. Bail was posted for Brandon Small who was then released from the Lower Township Police Department.
