Loud Party Shuts Unsafe Place

WILDWOOD — Excessively loud noise from a party at 727 W. Montgomery Ave. at 12:49 a.m. on July 21 brought city police to the front door.
When officers arrived, they found a house party in progress.
On entering the premises, the occupants were allegedly found to be in possession of alcohol, and no one in the residence was over 20 years of age.
A total of 39 adults were charged with possession and or consumption of alcohol while being under the legal age (21) to do so.
Patrick Giblin, 18, of North Wildwood was also charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Five juvenile were also arrested in the incident, according to Wildwood Police Department.
Due to the conditions at the residence, Wildwood Fire Department personnel were summoned to evaluate the safety of the building.
They deemed the property to be an imminent life hazard, and immediately ordered the dwelling closed to human occupation until appropriate repairs are made.
