Local Woman Arrested After Police Recover Stolen Jewelry

VILLAS – On May 20, the Lower Township Police Department, while following-up on a report of a burglary and theft that occurred on May 15t in the 200 Block of Frances Avenue in the Villas Section of Lower Township, recovered several pieces of jewelry at a local jewelry store.
The victim came to the jewelry store with detectives and positively identified the stolen items that someone had taken from her home.
The items taken were several pieces of gold and silver jewelry. Most of the items taken were recovered and additional follow-ups with other jewelry stores is continuing.
On May 20, following an investigation by the Lower Township Detective Division, Lower Township Detectives arrested Cori L. Harron, age 21 of the 100 Block of Ridgewood Avenue in Lower Township and charged her with possession of stolen property.
Lower Township Municipal Court Judge, David Deweese, set bail at $15,000 10%.
Harron was processed at the Lower Township Police Department and later transferred to the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.
Lower Township Detectives recovered the majority of the stolen jewelry from Adele’s Treasures Jewelry Store in Lower Township.
The Lower Township Detective Division conducted the investigation.
