COURT HOUSE – Arthur L. Hoyle, 39, of Wildwood, was sentenced to 14 years in State Prison July 10 by Judge John C. Porto, Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announced July 16.
This sentence is the result of a large scale narcotics investigation in 2008 by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and several local agencies. This investigation targeted a large scale cocaine distribution network operating throughout Cape May County. During this investigation it was learned that Hoyle was the leader of a narcotics distribution network and also affiliated with the “Blood” street gang. Hoyle was sentenced to first degree distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
Prosecutor Taylor stated that his office will continue to work hand in hand with the local municipalities along with State and Federal Agencies to target anyone associated with street gangs and drug distributors selling illegal controlled dangerous substances.
