Juveniles Sought for Lot Fire

RIO GRANDE – Middle Township police were seeking five juveniles seen in the area of a debris fire Thur. Nov. 10 about 2 p.m. at the former Rio Grande Concrete Plant, near Railroad Avenue and Route 47.
Rio Grand Fire Company responded to the call and extinguished the fire while a second truck stood by at the hydrant on Route 47.
According to Fire Chief Richard Sweeten, “This is not the first fire in this area. Middle Township Police and the Middle Township Zoning Office have been notified.”
Police were searching the area for the juveniles last seen running into a wooded area.
