Indictments Filed Sept. 5

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 17 indictments Sept. 5. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 
Kyle P. Sheridan
A Stone Harbor robbery turned into an aggravated sexual assault of the victim. On July 10, Kyle P. Sheridan allegedly “committed sexual assault during the commission of a robbery.”
A four-count indictment charges him with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and robbery, along with second-degree aggravated assault and sexual assault.
Conviction of a first-degree felony can result in a prison sentence of 10 to 20 years and conviction on a second-degree count can carry a five to 10-year sentence.
Carlos Lugo-Guzman
Carlos Lugo-Guzman, 31, of Woodbine, was indicted on two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault involving a 17-year-old victim. The age of the victim added two counts to the indictment for second-degree endangerment of the welfare of a child.
Pedro Juarez
Pedro Juarez, 24, was indicted for a July 27 incident in Sea Isle City  where he “used force” to sexually assault a victim he had “reason to know to be physically helpless.”
The three-count indictment includes first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Antwain M. Feaster
Continuing in the slate of sexual offense indictments, Antwain Feaster, 40, was indicted on six counts. Three counts were for third-degree endangerment of the welfare of a child and three were for fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.
Feaster allegedly engaged in the behavior on diverse dates in October 2015 and again in January 2016. The victim was under 16 years of age.
Kevin Piccolo
Kevin Piccolo, 55, of Pompton Plains, Morris County, was indicted for aggravated assault and resisting arrest in Wildwood, both counts in the third degree. Piccolo allegedly punched a Wildwood police officer who responded to the use of force to subdue Piccolo. 
The officer’s use of force was caught on video causing publicity surrounding the arrest.
Cordelia E. Lynch
Cordelia Lynch, 49, of Linden, was indicted for assault on a Wildwood police officer June 7. She was indicted for aggravated assault, fourth degree.
Agustin Piza
Agustin Piza was indicted for possession of cocaine, third degree and possession of a CDS with intent to distribute.
Kelly Scott
Kelly Scott, of Upper Township, was indicted for third-degree theft and receiving stolen property.  Indictment counts involved both Upper and Dennis townships.
Jerome Long
Jerome Long, 20, of Wildwood, was indicted on a fourth-degree count for allegedly throwing bodily fluids at police.
Pedro L. Laureano
Pedro L. Laureano, of Wildwood, allegedly used force in the robbery of a female victim in her residence. He was indicted for second-degree robbery and burglary, along with third-degree theft and fourth-degree criminal trespassing.
Robert French
Robert French, 29, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, in Wildwood, June 28.
Harlan Risser-Hawn 
Harlan Risser-Hawn was arrested in Sea Isle City allegedly in possession of a Smith-and-Wesson knife.  He was indicted for possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, third degree, as well as fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Clifford B. Baughman, Brittany L. Shelton
According to the indictment, Clifford Baughman and Brittany Shelton conspired to take and use a credit card that was not theirs. The indictment claimed that Baughman removed the credit card from a wallet in a car while Shelton watched.
Shelton then drove the two of them to a convenience store where they used the card to obtain fuel and tried but failed, to get funds from an ATM.
The two were indicted for third-degree conspiracy and fraudulent use of a credit card. Baughman also is faced with a count for fourth-degree hindering apprehension.
Michelle Eysenbach
Michelle Eysenbach, 38, of Levittown, Pa. was indicted on one count of child endangerment in the third degree. The child in question was 3-years-old. The indictment only stated that Eysenbach “had a duty to care” for the child and that the child’s condition met the requirements of “an abused or neglected child.”
Almondo Burgos
In May 2015, Almondo Burgos allegedly accepted money n Ocean City for which he had a “legal obligation to make a specific disposition.” The indictment alleged that Burgos kept the funds as if they were his own. He was indicted for theft by failure to make required disposition, third degree.
Robert R. Benckert
Robert Benckert faces a second-degree indictment for endangering the welfare of a child. The indictment provided no details on the nature of the child endangerment. The incident involved a 14-year-old and occurred in Wildwood Crest in July.
Jose Castro, Stephanie Soto, Humberto Franqui
A four-count indictment accused Stephanie Soto, 27, of Wildwood, with assault on a police officer and resisting arrest, each count third degree. 
Jose Castro, 26, also of Wildwood, faces a count for fourth degree throwing bodily fluids.
Humberto Franqui, 30, of Los Angeles, allegedly also committed assault but only at a level of the fourth degree.
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
