COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 16 indictments Sept. 4.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. “Certain person not to have a weapon” is a charge that can be brought against individuals whose previous conviction(s) make it a crime for them to possess weapons.
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
Jacob Obrikin, Amy Genre
Execution of a search warrant on a Stagecoach Road, Ocean View residence June 19 led to recovery of heroin and methamphetamine with a street value of $15,000 according to a police report. Jacob Obrikin, 36, and Amy Genre, 39, both of Ocean View, were indicted this week on nine counts including first-degree maintenance of a CDS production facility, second-degree conspiracy, two counts of second-degree possession of a CDS with intent to distribute and one count of second-degree possession of a weapon while committing a CDS crime, a “bb gun handgun.”
They also face four third-degree counts for possession of a CDS fortification of a CDS facility and financial facilitation of criminal activity.
Geoffrey Ely
Geoffrey Ely, of Ocean City, was indicted on three counts of aggravated assault, one of them second-degree and two third-degree, along with fourth-degree criminal mischief. The charges stem from an incident in August which the indictment states met the definition of domestic violence.
Lisa M. Delledonne
Lisa Delledonne, 48, of Newark, Del., was indicted for possession of a CDS and unlawful possession of a weapon, along with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. All counts were third degree. Delledonne was arrested Aug. 5 as part of a motor vehicle stop in Wildwood Crest. Police report finding methamphetamine as well as a Walther CP 99 pellet gun.
Robert S. Peters
Following a June arrest in Dennis Township, Robert Peters was indicted for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, a Glock 23, .40 caliber gun, and fourth-degree prohibited weapon, hollow point bullets.
Martin Sosofixtetela
Martin Sosofixtetela, 30, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree aggravated assault in a domestic violence situation.
Elizabeth Sanders
Elizabeth Sanders, 43, of North Wildwood, was indicted on one count of third-degree aggravated assault.
Cecil R. Morris
Cecil Morris, 43, was indicted for burglary of a Wildwood bank on Pacific Avenue July 30. Morris faces third-degree counts for burglary and theft, along with a fourth-degree count for possession of burglary tools.
Michael Franchetta
Michael Franchetta was arrested for possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, in Upper Township Feb. 6. He faces a one-count indictment for third-degree possession of a CDS.
Cole Jarrell
According to the indictment, in Sea Isle City July 26, Cole Jarrell unlawfully entered a local restaurant causing over $500 in damage and in possession of alprazolam. Jarrell was indicted on two third-degree counts for burglary and possession of a CDS. The indictment also contains a fourth-degree count for criminal mischief.
Samuel Enders, Sean Custer
Samuel Enders, of Upper Township, and Sean Custer, of Ocean City, were separately indicted on one count each of third-degree possession of a CDS.
Sean P. Dougherty
The indictment claims that Sean Dougherty attempted to elude Middle Township police in a motor vehicle July 13 creating a high risk of danger to others. The potential for serious harm to others resulted in a second-degree count for eluding.
Emmanuel Centeno
Emmanuel Centeno, of Wildwood, was indicted on one count of second degree endangering the welfare of a child, a 2-year-old. The incident occurred July 1.
Tysha M. Brown
Tysha Brown, 22, of Philadelphia, was indicted for third-degree aggravated assault on a North Wildwood police officer.
William J. Atkinson
William Atkinson, 35, of Villas, was indicted on two fourth-degree counts for unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person. The weapon in question was a machete. The certain person charge stemmed from Atkinson’s 2012 conviction of aggravated assault
John P. Andrews
John Andrews, 35, of Villas, was indicted for theft and possession of a CDS, both counts in the third degree.
