Indictments Filed Sept. 20

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 20 indictments Sept. 20. The abbreviation for controlled dangerous substance used below is CDS. 
Moises Maldonado
Moises Maldonado, 50, of Rio Grande, was convicted of sexual assault in 1996.  That crime meant he must submit to community supervision for life. This week he was indicted for third-degree violation of supervision and third-degree absconding from parole. Maldonado is lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $30,000 bail.
Timothy Majeski
Timothy Majeski, 27, of Rio Grande, was indicted for receiving stolen property, theft, and possession of a CDS, each third degree.
Liam Killeen
Liam Killeen, 18, of Glenside, Pa., was arrested in Wildwood for possession of a 6mm BB-gun without a permit. He was indicted for unlawful possession of a weapon, third degree.
Charles Johnson
In March, Charles W. Johnson was stopped for a driving while intoxicated offense in which another person was injured. Johnson was indicted this week for aggravated assault and violation of a law intended to protect public health and safety, each third degree.
Timothy Glen, Davis Gonzalez-Morell
Davis Gonzales-Morell, 24, of Wildwood, was indicted for possession of a CDS, distribution of a CDS, heroin, and distribution of a CDS within 1,000 feet of a school, each third degree. Also, the indictment contains three other counts: hindering apprehension, possession of a legend drug, and resisting arrest, each fourth degree. 
Timothy Glen was indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree.
Michael J. Trojan, Danielle Trojan
Michael Trojan, 30, was indicted for fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree criminal restraint. The charges stem from an incident in July in which Trojan allegedly “engaged in sexual conduct” with a 15-year-old whom he also allegedly held in “involuntary servitude.” Danielle Trojan faces an indictment count for third-degree witness tampering for attempting to get the victim to “withhold testimony.”
Jason Shaffer, Melissa Macaluso, Karelys Hernandez-Rodriguez
Karelys Hernandez-Rodriguez, 21, of Wildwood, was indicted for distribution of a CDS, distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, and distribution within 500 feet of public property. The first two counts are third degree. The distribution near public property rises to a second-degree offense.
Hernandez-Rodriguez was also charged with third-degree conspiracy to possess a CDS along with Melissa Macaluso, 30, of Wildwood.
Jason Shaffer, 36, of Philadelphia, was indicted for possession of a CDS.
Darnell Riley, Christopher Kubielnik
Christopher Kubielnik, 25, of Cape May, was indicted for distribution of a CDS, third degree along with two-second degree offenses, distribution of a CDS within 500 feet of public property and possession of a weapon while committing a CDS crime. The weapon was a knife. Darnell Riley, 45, of Wildwood, was indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree.  The drug in question was buprenorphine.
George Calverley
George Calverley, 22, of Del Haven, allegedly entered a residence on West Roberts Avenue in Wildwood in July taking property valued at greater than $500. He was indicted for burglary and theft, each third degree.
Jose Dorta
Jose Dorta, 74, of Rio Grande was arrested at a Route 47 motel in Rio Grande where a search allegedly turned up both heroin and cocaine. He was indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree, two counts, and possession with intent to distribute, third degree, two counts.
Edward Collier
Edward Collier, 48, of Thorofare, was arrested in Wildwood in July where he allegedly resisted arrest and threatened to kill a police officer. He was indicted for third-degree resisting arrest and terroristic threats along with fourth-degree throwing of bodily fluids.
Teresa Rodriguez
Teresa Rodriguez, of Ocean City, was indicted for two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second degree. The children involved were 13 years old and one month old. The indictment states that she had a duty to care for the children and took actions that made them abused or neglected children. She also faces a count of third-degree possession of a CDS, oxycodone.
Alexa James
Alexa James, 23, of Court House, was indicted for third-degree theft for allegedly taking a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze automobile.
David Sullivan, Daniel Santaniello, John Delaney, Sean O’Brien and Damanik Ellis
In separate, unrelated indictments David Sullivan, 47, of Wildwood, Daniel Santaniello, 24, of Rio Grande, John Delaney, 25, of Philadelphia, Sean O’Brien, 34, of Philadelphia, and Damanik Ellis, of Wildwood were each indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS.
The above individuals are only charged with the offenses and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
