COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 12 indictments Oct. 2. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
Dayshan T. Marks
Dayshan Marks, 22, of Philadelphia, took a walk on the Boardwalk in Wildwood July 6. Given what was in his possession, his decision to smoke marijuana on that walk may be one he regrets. According to police Marks was stopped by two Class II officers due to a citizen’s complaint about marijuana smoking.
A search turned up a loaded defaced 9 mm Ruger handgun with prohibited hollow point bullets. Marks was indicted for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon along with two fourth-degree counts for prohibited weapons.
Sean P. Joyce
Sean Joyce was indicted on eight counts after police say he threw bodily fluids at four different officers, assaulted a fifth officer while resisting arrest and damaged over $500 worth of property belonging to the City of North Wildwood.
He also is charged with damage to property of a city resident. Joyce was indicted on four counts of throwing bodily fluids, and one count of aggravated assault and two counts of criminal mischief, all fourth degree. He also faces one count of third-degree resisting arrest.
Samuel Dutton
Following an incident in Upper Township, Samuel Dutton was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin, as well as second degree endangering the welfare of a child 4-years- old.
Angelic Collier
An indictment for fourth-degree theft states that on four days in late July and early August, Angelic Collier took moveable property from an Ocean City convenience store valued at more than $200. One count of theft is in the fourth degree.
Robert Kelly
Robert Kelly, of Wildwood, was indicted for third degree possession of a CDS, oxycodone.
Ritamarie Bianchi
Following an August incident in Stone Harbor, Ritamarie Bianchi was indicted on one count of third-degree theft.
Joseph T. Smith
Joseph Smith, of Lower Township, was indicted for aggravated assault on a child along with endangering the welfare of a child. Both counts were third degree. The child in question was 14-years-old at the time of the incident in August.
David R. McCloud
David McCloud was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine, along with fourth-degree obstructing the administration of law. McCloud was arrested Sept. 3 in Sea Isle City.
Robert C. Robinson
The indictment asserts that Robert Robinson illegally entered two automobiles in Ocean City Sept. 5. He faces two counts of third-degree burglary. Earlier activity led to a second indictment below.
Robert C. Robinson
Robinson had a bad day with the grand jury since he faced a second indictment for incidents that occurred in Ocean City in July. He faces six counts. Three more counts for burglary of an automobile, each third degree, as well as one fourth-degree count for taking a credit card from one of the cars.
Robinson is also charged with stealing one of the cars he entered, a Ford Escape. That is a third-degree theft charge. The grand jury added a count for third-degree receipt of stolen property.
Jesus C. Rodriquez
Jesus Rodriquez, 44, of Edgewood, was indicted for third-degree burglary after ignoring signs and fencing and trespassing on Atlantic City Electric property in Middle Township.
Anthony Sparano
In Ocean City Sept. 13, Anthony Sparano was arrested for “peering in the window” of a female victim on Asbury Avenue. The indictment accused Sparano of stalking the victim during periods in December 2017, January 2018 and finally Sept. 13. He faces two counts of stalking and one count of criminal trespass, each count fourth degree.
