Indictments Filed Oct. 11

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 22 indictments Oct. 11. The abbreviation CDS is used for controlled dangerous substance. 
Joseph L. Shoestock
Joseph Shoestock, 51, of Villas, was indicted for possession of a CDS, possession with intent to distribute, both third-degree counts, along with second-degree eluding police and fourth-degree hindering apprehension.
Police said Shoestock was observed taking part in a drug transaction. When police tried to stop him, he fled on a motorcycle. Police in pursuit stated they saw Shoestock throw a bag on the roadside. Shoestock was stopped, taken into custody and police reported recovering the bag containing heroin.
Richard Brys
Richard Brys, 69, of Middle Township, was indicted for aggravated assault and resisting arrest, both third degree, along with another count of resisting arrest, fourth degree.
The incident that resulted in the indictment occurred Aug. 19 at about 6:30 p.m. Police reported that Brys was playing fetch with his dog on the Stone Harbor beach during prohibited hours. Brys allegedly refused to comply with the borough ordinance, attempted to walk away from police, and, when placed under arrest, Brys allegedly struck an officer with his elbow, knocking them both to the surf.
Jazia Aponte
Jazia Aponte, 18, of Cherry Hill, was indicted on two counts of third-degree theft and one count of fourth-degree theft or receipt of a credit card. The alleged offenses involved three separate victims in North Wildwood.
Dominic Catarcio
Dominic Catarcio, 48, of Court House, was indicted on two counts of willful non-support, fourth degree. The indictment asserts that Catarcio can provide and has a legal obligation to provide for child support. Catarcio was indicted in August for possession and distribution of a CDS.
Jeffrey Curdt
In late 2011 and early 2012, Jeffrey Curdt, 45, of Woodbine, allegedly engaged in the sexual assault of a child less than 13 years old. He was indicted for aggravated sexual assault, first degree, and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree.
Steven Figueroa
As most individuals at the shore celebrated Independence Day, Steven Figueroa, 44, of Philadelphia, allegedly committed the crime of aggravated assault in North Wildwood. He was indicted this week for the third-degree offense.
Cheryl Keenan
Cheryl Keenan, 22, of Beesley’s Point and Ocean City, allegedly fled a lawful arrest for possession of cocaine. She was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS and two fourth-degree counts of resisting arrest and hindering apprehension.
Chantal Langlois
Chantal Langlois, 43, of West Wildwood, was indicted for possession of a CDS, possession with intent to distribute, and intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school.  The drug in question was heroin. The incident occurred in Wildwood, Aug. 7.
Daiomy Lopez-Garcia
Daiomy Lopez-Garcia, 33, of Wildwood, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, a third-degree offense.
Mark Sitkowski
Mark Sitkowski, 51, of Pennsauken, was indicted for aggravated assault and resisting arrest, both counts third degree. The incident occurred Sept. 7, in Wildwood Crest.
Steven Turchi
Steven Turchi, 21, of Woodbine was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin. Turchi was arrested by State Police in Upper Township April 15.
Daniel Allegretto and Angela Greto
A July 4 incident involving two police officers in Sea Isle City resulted in resisting arrest indictments against Daniel Allegretto, 22, and Angela Greto, 24, both of Sea Isle City.
Denise Serrano, Corey Young, Brian Thompson, Natasha Hubbard
Four individuals were indicted for possession of both cocaine and heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute. The four were Denise Serrano, 28, and Brian Thompson, 30, both of Wildwood, along with Corey Young, 27, of Woodbine, and Natasha Hubbard, 28, of Orlando, Fla.
Alexis Pacheco, Malcom Jones, and Raymond Udzinski
Alexis Pacheco, 24, and Malcom Jones, 28, both of Wildwood were indicted for possession of a CDS, possession with intent to distribute, and conspiracy, all counts third degree, along with a second-degree intent to distribute a CDS within 500 feet of public property. Raymond Udzinski, 42, also of Wildwood, was charged with possession of a CDS, third degree.
Daniel Robinson and David Robinson
Daniel Robinson was indicted for possession of a CDS and possession with intent to distribute, both third degree.  He also faces a count of second-degree possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public property, in this case, the Ocean City Boardwalk. The drug involved was marijuana.
David Robinson faces a count of the indictment for possession of a CDS, third degree.
The above individuals are only charged with the offenses and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
