COURT HOUSE – Just days after Thanksgiving, a Cape May County grand jury handed up an unusually large number of indictments Nov. 28. There were 54 individual indictments.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. The crime of “certain person” below stands for someone not to have a weapon.
Individuals convicted of a felony are not allowed to carry a weapon at any time. When such an individual is found in possession of a weapon, a “certain person” charge is usually added to the indictment.
August Boback
In an incident of what police described as road rage, August Boback, 72, of Feasterville, Pa., allegedly pointed a firearm at two victims making threats to kill them. The incident occurred in Cold Spring. Boback fled the scene before police arrived and was arrested as he exited a local campground.
Essence H. Cade
Essence Cade, 20, of Rio Grande, allegedly accepted money from her employer she knew not to be hers. The value was in excess of $500. She was indicted for third-degree theft of property.
Danielle Gennarelle, Johnathan Reyes
In September, police responded to a suspicious incident finding Danielle Gennarelle, 25, of North Wildwood, in a parked car outside a home whose door had been forced. Police reports state that Johnathan Reyes, 21, of Green Creek, and a third individual were found inside the home hiding in a bathroom. The third male was wanted in California and was held for extradition.
Gennarelle and Reyes were indicted for third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. They also face an additional count of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Pedro Delgado-Perez
Pedro Delgado-Perez, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree burglary and terroristic threats after he allegedly entered a victim’s car making threats.
Michael Alton
On Aug. 27 on East Taylor Avenue in Wildwood, Michael Alton allegedly trespassed on private property to peer into a window at individuals who had a reasonable expectation of privacy. He was indicted on three counts of fourth-degree criminal trespass.
Alex Alexis
Alex Alexis, 51, of Rio Grande, was indicted for aggravated assault in the second degree involving bodily harm to a female victim.
John Baum
John Baum, 27, of Villas, was indicted for third-degree shoplifting after allegedly taking merchandise valued at greater than $500 from a chain store.
Charles Blakely
Charles Blakely, 23, of Somers Point was arrested in Upper Township in March. He was allegedly in possession of cocaine which he intended to distribute and a 9mm handgun. Blakely was indicted on three separate second-degree counts, two for weapons charges and one for possession of a weapon during a CDS crime. He additionally faces two third-degree counts of possession of a CDS and possession with intent to distribute.
Joseph Benigno
Following an incident in Upper Township, Joseph Benigno was indicted for third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft.
Tyrone Baker, Christopher Meyers
Tyrone Baker and Christopher Meyers on one count each of third-degree possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute.
Luis G. Hernandez
Luis G. Hernandez, 31, of North Wildwood, faces eight separate second-degree counts. A single second-degree count can carry a prison sentence of between five to 10 years. Hernandez allegedly possessed cocaine and heroin with intent to distribute in North Wildwood and Cape May.
Hernandez was also allegedly in possession of a rifle and has an earlier conviction for drug distribution.
He was indicted on two counts of possession with intent, two counts of intent to distribute within 500 feet of public property, two counts of possessing a gun in the commission of a CDS crime, one count of unlawful possession of a weapon, and one count of certain person not to have a weapon. Each count was second degree.
Edger L. Clark
Edger Clark, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine.
Megan Gallo
Megan Gallo was indicted on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second degree. The children involved were 10 and 12 years old. The indictment did not make clear the nature of the abuse or neglect.
Katrina Fabio
Katrina Fabio, 26, of Del Haven, was indicted for one count of endangering the welfare of a child, second degree. The child was 6 years old. The indictment did not make clear the nature of the abuse or neglect.
Jessica Genovese
Jessica L. Genovese, 30, of Cape May, allegedly trespassed on a property on Rabbit Run in Lower Township. She then allegedly took a credit card which she used multiple times at drugstores, convenience, and chain stores. She was indicted for criminal trespass and unlawful possession of a credit card, each fourth degree, as well as three counts of fraudulent use of credit card in the third degree.
Kristopher Giannone
Kristopher Giannone, 25, of Vineland, was indicted for burglary and theft each in the third degree. The counts stem from an incident in Lower Township in June.
Bruce Harnett, Amber Henley, Amy Holiday
In separate indictments, Bruce Harnett, of Wildwood, Amber Henley, 26, of Villas, and Amy Holiday, 33, of Leesburg were each indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree.
Michael Hatcher
Michael Hatcher, 58, was indicted for theft by failure to make required disposition, a third-degree count.
Joseph Harris
Joseph Harris, 26, of Wildwood allegedly took property of the City of Wildwood valued at greater than $200. He was indicted for fourth-degree theft.
Daniel L. Johnson, Victor Sabella
Daniel L. Johnson, 19, of Wildwood, and Victor Sabella, 22 of Wildwood Crest were allegedly involved in an incident involving “imitation cocaine” in August in Wildwood. Johnson was indicted for possession and distribution of the imitation drug, as well as possession with intent to distribute, all third degree. Sabella was indicted on one count of possession in the third degree.
Duane Jones
Duane Jones, of Wildwood, allegedly committed assault with a glass beer bottle in September. He was indicted for third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, along with two fourth-degree counts of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Mark Jones
Mark Jones, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine.
Christian Juisti, Robert Corbitt
Christian Juisti and Robert Corbitt, 19, of Upper Darby, were arrested in Wildwood in July and each charged with carrying a knife. They were both indicted on one count each of fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Ricardo Juarez-Ortiz
Ricardo Juarez-Ortiz was indicted on one count of second degree endangering the welfare of a child. The indictment did not make clear the nature of the abuse or neglect.
Dylan J. Justice
Dylan Justice, 21, of Eldora was indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree. The drug in question was psilocybin, mushrooms that contain a psychedelic drug compound.
Patrick Lavelle
Patrick Lavelle, 26, of Chester, Pa., was indicted for third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Gregory A Lazicki, Andrianna Perez
Earlier in November, Gregory Lazicki, 37, of Burleigh, was indicted for taking an ATM from a Court House restaurant. He was back for consideration by the grand jury along with Andrianna Perez, 28, of Burleigh. The two share the charge of burglary in the second degree along with a second count for conspiracy.
Sarah Leroy
Sarah Leroy, 28, of Petersburg, was indicted for fourth-degree possession of a CDS, marijuana, and third-degree possession, alprazolam.
Keith Magill
Keith Magill, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, alprazolam.
Tyler Marrara
Tyler Marrara was arrested in Wildwood Crest in August for possession of a weapon, a knife. He had an earlier conviction for drug distribution in Camden County. He was indicted for unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth degree, as well as certain person, fourth degree.
Stephen Marshall
Stephen Marshall was arrested in Ocean City in August for possession of marijuana. He was indicted this week for possession of a CDS and possession with intent, fourth degree.
Christopher Meier
Christopher Meier, 41, allegedly “obstructed the breathing or blood circulating equipment” of a domestic partner, meeting “the definition of domestic violence.” He was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault, one in the second and one in the third degree.
Jessica Miller
Jessica Miller, 30, of Burleigh, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, third degree, and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree.
Ray Rogers
Ray Rogers, 47, of Woodbine, was indicted for burglary and theft, each third degree.
Brian Rodgers Jr.
Brian Rodgers Jr. was arrested in West Cape May. He allegedly burglarized a structure on Broadway sometime between June 30 and July 3. When arrested, he was said to be in possession of heroin. He was indicted for burglary, theft, receipt of stolen property and possession of a CDS, each count was third degree.
Victor M. Negro
Victor Negro, 37, of Wildwood, allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill three individuals while wielding a “large kitchen knife.” He faces an eight-count indictment: three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of terroristic threats, all third degree, along with a third-degree count for possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and a fourth-degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon.
Ryan Roach
Ryan Roach, 26, of Wildwood, allegedly pointed a firearm at a female victim. He was indicted on second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and fourth-degree aggravated assault.
Shawn Russell, Guy Seltzer, Edwin Villanueva-Rivera, Jessica Waugh
In separate indictments, Shawn Russell, 27, of Avalon, Guy Seltzer, of Wildwood, Edwin Villanueva-Rivera, 23, of Wildwood, and Jessica Waugh, 30, of Villas were each indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS. Russell was indicted twice, once for possession in Wildwood and once for possession in Middle Township.
Andrew Santiago
Andrew Santiago, 30, of Villas, was indicted for second-degree robbery of a male victim in June.
Frank Staranoicz
Fran Staranoicz was arrested in Ocean City for carrying a switchblade knife. He was indicted on a fourth-degree prohibited weapon.
Joseph Sigona
Joseph Sigona was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin. He also faces a third-degree charge of endangering the welfare of a child, age 13.
Tyreik Spencer
Tyreik Spencer, 26, of Wildwood, allegedly attempted to elude Wildwood police in September. He was indicted for fourth-degree resisting arrest.
Thomas Stevens
Thomas Stevens allegedly had possession of a prohibited stun gun while in Wildwood in October. He was indicted for possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, third degree, as well as unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth degree.
Jonathan Vandoren, David Grant
Jonathan Vandoren and David Grant allegedly entered a BMW vehicle with New Jersey license plates and took property valued at greater than $500. They were indicted for burglary, theft and conspiracy, each third degree.
Dominic Vitiello
Dominic Vitiello as indicted for second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, as well as two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second and third degree. The two children involved were each 14-years-old. The indictment did not make clear the nature of the abuse or neglect.
Arthur Vitola, Brandon Wilson
Brandon Wilson, 32, of Chester, Pa. was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute each third degree. A sole count of possession was lodged against Arthur Vitola, 56, of Rio Grande.
Irene Zulla
In Upper Township in June, Irene Zulla allegedly assaulted two individuals while wielding two kitchen knives. She was indicted for aggravated assault, third degree, two counts, as well as possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, third degree.
Rita Salladino
Rita Salladino, of Ocean City, was indicted for theft, third degree, four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, third degree, and four counts of unlawful possession of a credit card, fourth degree. The cards were allegedly used to get money from an ATM as well as to make purchases.
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
